Things To Know About Your Event Rental

If you’re reading this then you have ordered a rental for your event. Here are a couple of reminders to make sure everything goes smoothly:

DELIVERY:
     • We will have everything delivered and set up by the event start time on your contract. Tent Rentals will be set up and taken down up to 3 days before/after your event. This does not effect your rental time.
     • There are no stairs that lead up to your event space, correct? (Stair fee may apply)
     • We do ask that the lawn be mowed 2 days before delivery. This helps us with setup and prevents our units from getting stained by the grass.
     • All animal waste must be removed from the setup area prior to our arrival.

811 Call Before You Dig:
     • It is the homeowners’ responsibility to contact CBYD to ensure there are no underground utilities where we will be setting up. We use large stakes to secure the inflatables and tents to the ground and we don’t want to risk hitting anything!
     • We are not responsible for any damage to the sprinkler systems on the property due to stakes or staking. If you have a sprinkler system, please let us know where not to stake.

Park/Forest Preserves:
     • If your event is at a park/forest preserve, you’re responsible for ensuring that you have the proper permits and certificate of insurance.
     • You can obtain a certificate of insurance from us by simply requesting it.
     • Most parks require a general permit and a special use permit for inflatables, generators, tents, etc.
     • Also verify with them that you are allowed to use stakes to secure the equipment into the ground.

• Tables & Chairs: If you are renting tables and chairs, they will be delivered curbside. Our crew does not typically set them up otherwise we get behind on our deliveries. We’ll stack the tables and chairs for you, and would appreciate it if you has them stacked the same way when we pick them up. If you need us to set up and break down the tables and chairs, let us know so we can add time in the schedule for an additional .50 cents per table or chair.

Wet Inflatables:
     • We will attach your water hose to the unit so make sure it’s nearby.
     • Water must be drained, and the inflatable must be dried before pick up. After removing water from the unit, leave inflated in sun for 2-4 hours so that it can become dry enough for us to roll up. If the unit is waterlogged, we won’t be able to pick it up and will have to charge an additional delivery fee to come back and pick it up another time.
     • Ensure you have a stand-alone power outlet within 50’ of the setup location. Our blowers use a lot of power and will trip the breaker if anything else is using that line as well.

BALANCE:
     • If you have a remaining balance, it is due no later than 5 days before your event date. If it’s not paid off, the system won’t queue it to be delivered so I just don’t want there to be any delays in your delivery. Don’t worry though you’ll get an email reminder from us.

CANCELLATION:
     • Deposits are non-refundable and guarantee your rentals for the day of your event.
     • Should you choose to cancel due to inclement weather, we can reschedule with no additional fees.
     • Weather cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours for inflatables.

GENERATORS:

     • We deliver our generator rentals filled with gas as a courtesy. You are responsible for checking the gas level every hour and adding more gas if needed.

LEAVING EQUIPMENT:

     • Equipment cannot be left unattended. You will be liable for any theft or damage that occurs to the equipment if it is left unattended and your damage waiver will be void (if applicable). This also means that if your event is at a park, you cannot leave the park before we pick up the equipment.

THANKS AGAIN: Thanks again, I’m really excited for you, this is going to be great.

5*REVIEWS: Just remember, people like you are what keeps our company great… I really hope you get a chance to leave us a review on Google or Facebook when you get a chance.
